I love shooting for Brian Tarquin, he gives me the opportunity to shoot for magazines without having to deal with art directors. No offence to any a.d.’s that might read this… Marc Scibelli : )
Brian is a musician/recording engineer/really cool guy/Emmy winner.  (yeah he has 2 Emmy’s for Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition, very cool)  Anyway every couple of months he has me down to his studio to update the ever changing space. This last visit also involved photos of him for vintage guitar magazine. Thanks for the opportunity Brian!

jeanne and ed : post wedding

with 3 comments

Lately I’ve been posting lots of different stuff. Grooms hanging themselves, bridesmaids on walls, so I figured it was time to remind everyone that I can and will take normal pictures!!

Jeanne and Ed were married back in September we were going to take engagement pictures before the wedding but with my wedding schedule we could not nail down a date! So Jeanne suggested post-wedding-engagement-pictures : ) I love it.

Here are some of my favorites.

Love jeanne expression in this. Nice background too!

nancy and frank : engaged – part 2

with 4 comments

I didn’t think I would be able to top Nancy and Frankie’s engagement session from meat packing last week, but that was before I shot these tonight. How cool is this old building?

bettina and anthony : engaged

with 5 comments

Bettina and Anthony are getting married this weekend, so your going to be seeing a lot of them in the next few days! Anthony is from Brooklyn so where better to shoot the engagement pictures then the Brooklyn Bridge. Such a wonderful place you get it all, the urban edge, perfect light and stunning backgrounds.

For this shoot Nancy requested something different. She wanted something with “more of an edge”.

What do you guys think, are these edgy?

Missy – peek

leave a comment »

This family photo was special for me. Missy was the first employee I ever had. Actually she was with my fathers company long before I was even shooting events. She has since moved on to be an amazing elementary school teacher and mother of three. So when she asked me to photograph them I was so happy to! Hey missy hope you love these. I had a great time today.
