22 degrees, that was the temperature when Ronnie, Jason and I got into the car this morning. I have to give Diana more than your normal amount of praise for sticking it out and doing the photos outside. I had on two shirts a sweater a hoodie and a wool jacket oh gloves and a hat. Diana had on a wedding gown! Nobody said getting sick photos was going to easy. : )

It might have been insanely cold but the the light was like I’ve never seen at Untermeyer. (Something had to go our way today!!) I’m going to post more photos than normal simply because we had to work so hard to get them. Enjoy these next few post their is only two more weddings to go before I hibernate for the winter!

One of Jasons shots, your all going to love Jason, he’s awesome

Thanks for the help.

WOW, I never thought I would get such a great response : )
So Irvington it is, all I need is to find some space!

In response to some of the comments below:

Mark. As a loyal tax paying citizen, I’m doing my part in keeping the bridge OUT of the water.
Christina. I thought the map would get a chuckle. If you liked that I will email you my stick figure giraffe and elephant, two of gretchens favorites.
Jo. Looks like your gonna have to get in your car to come see me.
Jake. Yes Hiku is the best, but obviously you have never eaten at the Red Hat. Oh my god that is the best food in Westchester. And its located right on Bridge street!!!!

Thanks for the help everyone. In reality I’m not 100% sure yet that I’m moving, I will give everyone plenty of notice before the day comes. Thanks for the help. I have such a great bunch of people supporting me!!!

I need help making a decision

with 7 comments

I’m seriously thinking about moving my office closer to my house. Don’t worry I’m not moving it to rockland. I wouldn’t make my worst enemy drive over the tappan zee bridge for anything!

I am considering the village of Irvington. It is directly across the river from Piermont and would cut my commute to 10 minutes. Its 40 now, Yikes.

So what do you think?

Just so you dont think I hung up my camera for the winter here is an amazing photo (i think) of the tappan zee bridge from the pier in Piermont. oh and a map of my new commute.

Another year!

with 15 comments

If you called the office today you undoubtedly got the machine. I decided to take the day off and spend my birthday with my girls. Yes another year has passed, I can’t bring myself to say my age so I got my little G-Star to throw up a gang sign to tell everyone how old I am. I will be back in the office bright and early tomorrow one very long year older!!

This is by far the easiest blog post ever!

Natasha, a self proclaimed blog stalker, wanted to do anything she could to get on the blog! We briefly talked about a shower scene (fully clothed of course) and decided that, even that might be a little much, yeah even for me! Although a bride dressed in the shower might never have been done before, we didn’t need to go to that extreme.

Natasha, you and Marco are so much fun to be around, so the cool photos came easily. The pictures are stunning and I cant wait to show you all of them. Hopefully this post and your preview gallery will fulfill you until we edit all of them.  Ronnie and I had so much fun today, enjoy your trip call me when you get back.

And here is Ronnie’s contribution, quite possibly the best photo he has ever taken. Oh, from 12 feet up in the air I might add. (he climbed the giant pine tree I didn’t want to)  : )

No wedding today, but still lots to do

leave a comment »

I only have one wedding this weekend. So, instead of just hanging out and relaxing, I filled my schedule doing some food photography at my favorite restaurant Zuppa in Yonkers.

Before that I had the pleasure of attending a four year old birthday party for my niece, Scarlett.
